Today in the city of Karakol under the leadership of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and within the framework of the state housing program “My house” officially opened a new residential complex “Khan-Tengiri".
This project is the first State-owned residential mortgage complex in the Issyk-Kul region and was implemented by the State Mortgage Company.
General information about the Khan-Tengiri complex:
• A total of 3,105 apartments have been built;
• 69 blocks, 9 floors each;
* The construction work will be fully completed by the end of 2027.
First stage (completed on August 8, 2025):
• 420 apartments:
* 1 bedroom — 168;
* 2 bedrooms — 168;
* 3 bedrooms — 84;
• 10 blocks, 9 floors each;
• Total area — 24,974 m2;
* 1,450 parking spaces;
• Modern school;
• Two kindergartens;
* Mosque and other social facilities.
These apartments are provided to citizens queuing at the ”State Mortgage Company" and to those who make an advance payment of 50% of the cost of housing.
The "My House" program is not limited to Karakol, construction is currently underway in Cholpon-up, and has also begun in Balykchy.
